I've got mixed feelings about the charter school. I enrolled them a little late so most of the on campus classes were full, so the boys are basically on homeschool status. Unfortunately, somewhere along the line I neglected to teach them about self-motivation and discipline, apparently. This means I work all day, and teach (okay, nag, whine, cajole) all night. The school itself is awesome. They'll be doing GREAT field trips this year: Mary Poppins @ the Ahmanson Theater, LA Zoo, etc. where their "regular" public school does no field trips at all.
